Sodexo Live's! Airport Lounge Segment is seeking an Airport Lounge Manager at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). As a Lounge Manager for this elite club/lounge, you will have responsibility for daily food and beverage operations and service staff including bartenders, food attendants and custodial staff. This is a hands-on manager role. The ideal candidate will have food service/restaurant knowledge, hospitality, bar service experience, appearance care, a strong eye for detail and overall excellent service standards. Most importantly, this manager will be a true team leader and will lead our associates in exceeding guest expectations.

The successful candidate will:

  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer/guest relationships;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
  • have union management experience.

  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

The work schedule will include a variety of shifts which includes evenings and weekends to best support the airport club business. Must be flexible to work 2nd shift until close at 1:30AM).

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
