Sodexo is hiring our remote Asset Management Framework Engineering Team Member 1 to support our Campus Segment Client locations across the nation with many accounts in the east. Travel requirements: 90% travel with residence within 1 hour to a major airport and valid driver's license.

Our leader will work independently during extensive travel, to build relations with our C-Suite level Executive clients and provide advanced problem solving and solutions for Capital Renewal Plans on campus. Extended knowledge of building and mechanical systems, ranging from asset management to managing power plants, solar and wind, waste water treatment and operational assessments of accounts keep this career opportunity dynamic and exciting!

This position assesses site technical service delivery and building infrastructure and presents completed assessments to Site Operations Teams, and our Clients. Our Asset Management Team Member will develop knowledge and processes for guiding the Operations and Account Team, including Facilities Engineering, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance, Facilities Assessment and Operational Excellence.

Reporting to our Asset Management Framework Team Leader, this role will provide technical support to the Campus market unit teams by auditing sites, gathering equipment data and generating capital renewal prioritization plans. Our leader will assist in preparing technical solutions and presentations to our Facilities Operations team and our Clients. Additionally, this position assists in developing strategic and conceptual Comprehensive Service solutions for specific client business needs, sales strategy and operational strategies.

Our clients depend on your expertise to help them to optimize their business. Extensive background in HARD FM including power systems, waste management systems, asset management, HVAC, mechanical and electrical engineering combined with the ability to develop and present innovative technical solutions are critical to success in the role.

In this role you will:

  • Perform capital planning and operational assessments, maintenance assessments, asset management assessments, and energy assessments
  • Address operational, maintenance and compliance issues involving HVAC, building automation, electrical and fire and safety and other building systems
  • Maintain a current and thorough understanding of industry trends as they apply to items within the Universities Operations and incorporates these into Sodexo’s offer portfolio and business strategy as appropriate
  • Assist in the creating of a sense “identity and brand” from an internal perspective.
  • Actively build relationships with operations team members to make the solutions successful
  • Ensure that effective and efficient systems are in place to enable superior performance that will drive value for our clients
  • Negotiate Sodexo’s political landscape to build internal relationships and service level agreements to serve our clients
  • Contribute to driving business development and retention objectives across all business units via offer, technical capability, service excellence and education to internal and external clients and customers

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 – 5 years successful experience as a Facilities Director, with sound knowledge of Hard FM in our campus segment, including building infrastructure and utility systems
  • Demonstrated history of Innovative, Solution Oriented processes to improve Hard FM services
  • A well developed communication style: Influencing, Collaborative, Strategic
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent working experience

This role is a development process towards becoming a subject matter expert in facilities management solutions, in Building Infrastructure and Utility Systems, Facility Assessment

Position Summary

Supports the Hard FM (Asset Management and Engineering) Services of the North America FM Platform and the Global FM Platform to define Sodexo's asset management and engineering (Hard FM) services. Supports delivering the Asset Management and Engineering services and driving a data-driven, disciplined culture that drives FM growth. Contributes to the offer/service development (concept to implementation) of each component of the Hard FM services including but not limited to market requirements, education, customers liaison, defining and developing solutions, sales training and continuous improvement. This position will support designing and developing future offers/services to support the selling and delivery of the Hard FM services, developing the offering, ensuring consistent deployment, designing solutions based on customers needs working with sales and operations teams, educating internal and external clients and customers. The position will implement and support Hard FM services for growing revenue of Sodexo's FM business in all segments.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
