Sodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opening for The Club BWI located at Baltimore / Washington International Airport in Baltimore, MD. We are seeking a Club Operations Manager to lead the Food and Beverage operations within this club/lounge.

The lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax, rejuvenate, enjoy food from the buffet and/self-service beverage program. We are seeking a hospitality-minded manager to be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests. This is a leadership position for a junior manager. Your emphasis will be on safety and sanitation, cleanliness and hospitality, ordering and inventory, and providing a great atmosphere for the guests. A high energy personality, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow are all thats needed to apply. Any managers from fast food, QSR, or full service restaurants or hotels are encouraged to apply. Great quality of life and working hours too!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Establishes a safe work environment
• Utilizes Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships, to ensure account retention
• Directs daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met
• Develops and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan
• Ensures adherence to all HR standards for Sodexo, client, and regulatory agencies

Responsible for inventory management and procurement of food and supplies at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company. Manages food production through kitchen staff in a large facility. Contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through cost containment and safety.
Key Duties
- Utilizes Sodexo resources, recipes, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.

- Ensures employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.

- Establishes and maintains a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards

- Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary

- Supervises employees by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
