Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (Project Support) for the University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, OH. We are looking for solution-oriented candidates who excel at database management with a biomedical equipment background. The perfect candidate will focus on operational excellence but will not perform any repairs.

The main role/responsibilities of the position will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment data in the CMMS is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skill as well as strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent service in an expedient manner.

The ideal Biomedical Equipment Technician (Project Support) will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of exposure to biomedical devices
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of and experience in CMMS programs
  • Desire to be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple demands and produce outcomes
  • Experience with data integrity
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
