Business Technology Analyst

Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Business Technology Analyst for a prominent Oil and Gas Client in Houston, TX. The Business Technology Analyst will be responsible for complex data analysis, dashboards, and reporting centered around data collection and analytics from various energy and resource segment across the country. This role will support a large real estate portfolio working on the central engineering team, analyzing utility/energy consumption, building automation systems, equipment assets, maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate will perform:
- Data queries and calculations
- Data Management
- Dashboard Management
- Assisting Clients and Stakeholders
We are looking for candidates that have/are:
- 2 years IT and business-related experience
- Knowledge of engineering, utility / energy consumption, and equipment assets a huge plus but not required
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly and adapt to change
- High level of customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Project Management experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Data Sciences is preferred

Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary. Guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years IT and business-related experience
