Location: We are seeking an experienced Cash Management Clerk for the Corporate Office in Greenville, South Carolina.

Position is available for Hybrid

Principal Function:

The Cash Management Clerk will assist the Cash Manager with the daily and monthly cash management responsibilities, supporting the banking needs of the corporate office and field locations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Download daily bank reports and BAI files.
  • Load daily BAI files into reconciliation software.
  • Concentrate cash from depository accounts daily.
  • Process wire and/or ACH payments on bank software and maintain templates.
  • Prepare daily and monthly cash journal entries and key/upload to the general ledger.
  • Prepare and upload cash and credit card allocations to general ledger.
  • Perform various administrative duties related to cash management.
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits for corporate office.
  • Assist the Cash Manager with opening and closing of bank accounts.
  • Assist the Cash Manager with the setup and maintenance of armored car contracts for the field locations.
  • Download electronic bank statements.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple disbursement and depository accounts.
  • Contact and assist units to resolve bank reconciliation variances and record the corresponding journal entries.
  • Special Projects as assigned.


  • Associates degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Initiative in identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively.
  • Must be able to work on multiple tasks/assignments without compromising accuracy/quality.
  • Efficient computer and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrate strict attention to detail. Must be accurate.
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Lawson accounting and ReconNet experience preferred not required.
  • Ability to promote and participate in team environment.
