Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Catering Manager 3 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. The Catering Manager will be supporting the food catering events within the hospital. Cooper University Hospital is 635 licensed beds, trauma acute care facility with over 140 Nonunion employees.

The Catering Manager 2 will be responsible for client contact, event dining planning, pricing, negotiation, coordination and implementation of catered dining arrangements. Position includes responsibility for catering revenue growth, exceptional customer service, and exceeding customer and client expectations in the area of catering services.

We are looking for candidates who can:

  • identify internal/external customer needs and expectations;
  • ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met;
  • educate and develop rapport with internal/external customers and promote partnerships;
  • promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs; and
  • coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Solid organizational skills
  • Excellent leadership/team building skills
  • The ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives
  • Culinarian experience is preferred
  • Professional demeanor is required

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
