Are you looking for a great place to work? Sodexo’s Corporate Services team is seeking a skilled Catering Manager 3 to oversee an innovative, high-end catering program at the Hospital Corporation of America’s (HCA) main campus, located across from Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

About the Role:

As the Catering Manager 3, you will:

  • Oversee catering operations for four buildings on campus.
  • Manage various levels of catering events, from simple breakfasts and box lunches to buffets and large events.
  • Handle high-end catering for VIPs, including plated meals and smaller, exclusive events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to grow the business.
  • Be well-versed in sales, team building, and event organization.
  • Ensure flawless execution of events through effective communication with teams and chefs.
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control.
  • Supervise approximately 10 hourly employees, including hiring and training staff.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in casual, high-volume, fine dining, and banquet management.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of the technical aspects of catering.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring a diverse and talented catering staff.
  • Ability to multi-task, delegate, and coordinate multiple events.
  • A systems-based approach to meet and exceed each event’s unique requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
