Work where the MOUNTAINEERS PLAY! The Catering Manager position will oversee all aspects of the catering department for WVU Athletic venues operated by Sodexo. The venues include Milan Puskar Stadium (football), the Coliseum (indoor arena), Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium and Wagener Field at Kendrick Family Ballpark (baseball). The Catering Manager is responsible for game day and non-game day catering functions at all four venues in addition to any offsite locations.

What You'll Do
  • Write catering menus
  • Coordinate and execute multiple events daily
  • Manage catering inventory and using catering software
  • Transform spaces and create an experience for guests

What You Bring
  • Hands on Higher Education catering experience
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Experience with both casual and fine dining catering/banquet management
  • Knowledge of ethnic culinary cuisine themes
  • Prior high volume catering service experience
  • Knowledge of catering set up and execution

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
