Location: We are seeking a Catering Sales Admin to join the Sodexo Live! team at the Hollywood Bowl located in Los Angeles, CA. This position will be supporting The Hollywood Bowl, The Ford Amphitheater and LA Music Center.
Job Overview:
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the sales, marketing, and event teams to support clear communication and successful event execution.
- Assist clients and the catering sales team with planning and coordinating catered events according to event specifications.
- Support the preparation of event documentation, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), contracts, and other sales materials.
- Maintain accurate records of client accounts, event details, and billing information. Coordinate event logistics with internal departments and assist with communicating event information to operational teams.
- Provide administrative support for sales initiatives, marketing promotions, and special events at the venue.
- Assist with maintaining client relationships by supporting communication with existing accounts and responding to inquiries.
- Support the sales team with scheduling, documentation, and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth department operations.
- Address guest or client questions when appropriate and escalate concerns as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in high-volume catering, hotel, convention center, or food and beverage sales environment preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements
- Ability to work effectively and safely in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and elevated noise levels
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tight or crowded spaces
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as operationally required
