Location: We are seeking a Catering Sales Supervisor to join the Sodexo Live! team at the Hollywood Bowl located in Los Angeles, CA. This position will be supporting The Hollywood Bowl, The Ford Amphitheater and LA Music Center.

 

Job Overview:

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Sodexo Live! clients and the sales, marketing, and event teams to ensure seamless communication and successful event execution.
  • Partner with clients to plan and coordinate catered events based on their needs and specifications.
  • Generate new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and accounts.
  • Identify, develop, and secure sponsorship opportunities and manage fulfillment of sponsorship agreements.
  • Oversee event planning logistics including contracts, vendors, décor, entertainment, rentals, and food & beverage coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, sponsorships, billing, and event details.
  • Communicate event information to operational teams and support weekly BEO meetings.
  • Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events at the venue.
  • Lead and support the sales team through hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor department financial performance through sales planning, forecasting, and competitive analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and service standards.
  • Address guest concerns and seek feedback to improve service, sales performance, and guest experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in high-volume catering, hotel, convention center, or food and beverage sales environment preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively and safely in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and elevated noise levels
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tight or crowded spaces
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as operationally required
