Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for its food service operations at Greenwood House, an assisted living and skilled care facility located in Ewing, New Jersey. This Chef Manager will be hands on and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen. Will report to the General Manager and manage an hourly staff of approximately 25 employees. The typical shift will be 5:00am - 2:00pm or 10:00am - 7:00pm may vary with some weekend coverage.
The successful candidate will:
- oversee daily operations of the ktichen;
- have a background in food production with strong cooking skills;
- handle ordering and inventory;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
- have high expectations for the quality of food and presentation;
- have the ability and willingness to mentor and train employees; and
- knowledge of Food Management Systems/Software is preferred.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
