Sodexo Senior Living has an immediate opening for a Chef Manager at Hermitage Richmond. Located in historic Richmond, this warm and inviting community is home to active independent seniors, as well as assisted living and healthcare residents. The right person for this role will bring a solid operations background in food service, from either a senior living or healthcare setting. Must have excellent skillset in customer and client relations. The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes a weekend rotation alternate weekend schedule as Manager- on Duty- is also required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance;
  • food production management and catering experience, preferably in senior living/healthcare setting;
  • notable culinary skills with homestyle, scratch cooking, as well as other creative dishes;
  • hands-on experience with inventory management, and online ordering;
  • ability to train & develop employees;
  • ability to uphold Sodexo Culinary Standards; recipe compliance and food quality;
  • experience in labor and food cost controls and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
