Sodexo has a great growth opportunity for a Chef Manager at Paul's Run Retirement Community, an upscale continuing care retirement community located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Chef Manager will oversee daily kitchen operations and manage a staff of approximately 15 hourly employees. Typical shift will be 11:00 am - 7:30 pm; flexibility to work every other weekend is required in this role.

The successful candidate will:

  • cook 60-70% of the time;
  • oversee food quality and presentation;
  • monitor temperature logs and HACCP for sanitation;
  • exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and/or
  • perform functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.

  • prior food service management experience ideally in a healthcare environment;

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
