Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for Fairview Northland Medical Center located in Princeton, MN. The Chef Manager will assist with the day-to-day kitchen operations that include training employees, ordering, inventory, menu planning, food preparation, and cooking meals.

The successful candidate will work as a team to:

  • develop menus for retail and prepare meals for patients and cafeteria customers
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff
  • provide stellar customer service
  • POS programming and maintenance
  • purchase and receive food, as well as maintain inventory
  • conduct culinary, retail and patient service standard audits (in-house and national brands)
  • maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands)
  • ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place
  • manage vendor relationships and compliance

  • demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphic programs, a plus

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
