Sodexo has a Chef Manager position open at Providence College, located in Providence, RI. Providence College is a private, Catholic university in Providence, Rhode Island. With a 2019 enrollment of 4,367 undergraduate students and 523 graduate students, the college specializes in academic programs in the liberal arts.
This position oversees the Priory, which is the private residence for all of the Priests on the Providence College Campus. This operation serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 365 days a year to approximately 30-50 people.
The Chef Manager is tasked with leading a 30+ year partnership with an established yet evolving program and continuing to drive innovation, engagement and satisfaction through a food forward restaurant quality approach to dining. This is an excellent position for a hands-on professional who is customer-service driven in a fast-paced, university/hospitality service environment. - have oversight of day-to-day operations;

The ideal candidate:
- Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills;
- Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- Financial ability to manage and demonstrate proven results with material costs, labor, procurement compliance and controllable expenses.
- Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
