Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager to support the food service operations at Northhampton County Government Center located in Easton, Pennsylvania. This Chef Manager will also assist with supporting Gracedale County Home located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania as needed. The Chef Manager will oversee the daily operations for the cafe at the Northampton County Government Center, will cook daily following recipe standards and supervise one other employee. Typical shift will be 6:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday, with some holiday coverage.

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of food production;
  • be hands-on, will cook daily;
  • deliver high quality food service;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • create a positive environment; and
  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

The ideal candidate:

  • has culinary knowledge;
  • has a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has strong customer service skills;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • is proficient in computer skills; knowledge of IDDSI dietary program is helpful.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
