**$7,500 SIGN ON BONUS**

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Grand Strand Medical Center located in Myrtle Beach, SC. This 403-bed hospital is a level 1 adult trauma center and level 2 pediatric trauma center.

No Scheduled Weekends OR Holidays!

4 weeks’ vacation after 12 months + 3 personal days!
*3 weeks’ vacation for first 12 months
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Money toward continuing education events!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

The successful candidate will:

  • manage the clinical nutrition program within Grand Strand Medical Center;
  • supervise, train and mentor a team of 4 Registered Dietitians;
  • manage Sodexo’s menu management system (Healthtouch);
  • collaborate with the Patient Services Manager and assist to enhance the patient experience;
  • provide training and education to the food service staff, as well as interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
  • drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
  • be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the depart on hospital wide committees;
  • provide direct patient care on a variety of units as needed; and
  • precept dietetic interns.

  • have proven supervisory or management experience;

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework
Basic Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
