Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, NY. NYP-Queens is a 535-bed level I trauma center and teaching hospital serving residents of Queens and metro New York as part of the New York-Presbyterian system.
The successful candidate will:
- provide high-level management of the clinical nutrition program;
- work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager II to train, mentor and supervise a team of 12 inpatient and 4 outpatient dietitians;
- drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;
- oversee rollout of department programs and initiatives;
- provide training and education to interdisciplinary healthcare professionals;
- be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital- and system-wide committees; and
- serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework
Basic Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
