Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Community Outreach Dietitian for the Food For Life Pantry in Cleveland, OH.  The Food for Life Market Dietitian supports University Hospitals’ innovative community nutrition program by guiding referred patients experiencing food insecurity through weekly food selections, offering practical nutrition guidance, and promoting disease‑specific education during individualized “walk and talk” sessions. This role also leads community programming—such as cooking demos, farmer’s market tours, and general nutrition classes—at the Glenville Wellness Center.

 

Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year

What You'll Do

  • Guide referred patients through weekly food selections and provide nutrition guidance
  • Support Food for Life Market operations for patients with food insecurity
  • Lead community programs like cooking demos and market tours
  • Create and deliver new nutrition programs for the community
  • Collaborate with team members across Food for Life Market sites

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
