Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Manager for West Virginia University's Concessions located in Morgantown, WV. As a Concession Manager at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provide oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining, and cafes. 

 

Locations: WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY -Milan Puskar Stadium, Hope Coliseum, Monongalia County Ballpark, Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

What You'll Do

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
  • Facilitate the orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring

  • Outstanding customer service skills to insure highest quality of service to campus community; provide training and direction to achieve service excellence;
  • Excellent fiscal management experience to write budgets, control expenditures and meet targets;
  • Marketing experience to creatively identify sales opportunities and grow business to meet goals;
  • Strong supervisory/leadership experience to provide direction and vision for a diverse team of managers, supervisors and hourly employees;
  • Experience establishing operational standards, and working with staff to adhere to standards;
  • Experience analyzing the business, determining new products and services, working through design and successful implementation
