Location: We are seeking a Part Time Concessions Supervisor for the BJCC located in Birmingham, AL.

Job Overview:
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service by supervising concessions staff and supporting the concessions operations at all points of sale. They will assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to Concession Leads while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Their top priority will be to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
This role will plan and prepare in advance of games or events, ensure inventory and supplies are properly stocked, and provide hands-on supervision during events. The Concessions Supervisor will monitor service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and organize post-event closing and clean-up operations. Additionally, they will support training and development of team members, ensuring staff are knowledgeable, efficient, and motivated to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Train and monitor staff's utilization of operational procedures for POS system and register to efficiently process guest purchases.
- Work with warehouse, culinary and operations teams to ensure all points of sale are properly stocked and supplied.
- Routinely inspect areas of assigned responsibility and report all substandard safety, security or equipment conditions to manager.
- Ensure that all food and supplies are stored and/or maintained under proper conditions as per standards.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and breakdown of assigned concession stands.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including OSHA and local health codes.
- Handle product restocking before, during, and after events.
- Act as a point of contact for resolving guest concerns or operational issues during events.
Qualification/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service environment.
- Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others.
- Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in weight (storage bins, shelves). Must be able to maneuver in an often tightly quartered environment.
- Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
