Sodexo is seeking a Construction/Project Manager for a high-profile Corporate Headquarters account in Piscataway, NJ. This site is one of Sodexo’s prestigious international accounts, which also serves as a showcase account. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for 4 key measures of project success: client satisfaction, budget, time-line, and risk mitigation. They will oversee the execution of our customer’s projects including but not limited to construction, infrastructure, capital and expense projects by leading in project planning activities, managing and driving time-lines, and keeping a watchful eye on the budget. Demonstrating a firm but fair leadership style, the Project Manager will hold project teams accountable to time-lines and commitments, ensuring a seamless, successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with the client and other consultants, at all project stages using all effective means to relay useful and timely information.
- Provide monthly project financial forecasts and work with finance and vendors to ensure contractors are invoiced properly.
- Regularly monitor project against budget and flags team when project/timeline/budget deviate
- Ensure that any relevant changes in scope items result in revised documents and an updated approval from clients as needed
- Regularly monitor client satisfaction levels, consider feedback carefully, and coordinate appropriate action to ensure client feels heard, supported, and reassured that the project is on track
- Being pro-active in running projects and all related functions within accepted good management practices.
- Managing the change control process.
- Ensure all written communications are properly formatted and drafted to meet exact standards.
- Collaborate with safety managers to apply all account and company safety requirements.
- Work with local and central teams to support the development of new proposals.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; Mechanical or Engineering Degree's preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills, relationship building skills and outstanding communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on managing projects within facilities operations, construction and maintenance
- A proven track record of successful Project Management experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen
- Critical Thinking Skills and great decision making skills; and
- Knowledge of Maximo and other BAS systems knowledge (a plus)

Position Summary

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
