Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian (with NICU experience preferred) at HCA MountainView Medical Center located in Las Vegas, NV. HCA MountainView Hospital is a 502 bed acute care teaching hospital; is a state-of-the-art, full-service medical facility located in the heart of Northwest Las Vegas, one of the fastest growing areas in the valley. You will work a 4 -10 hour day schedule and enjoy 3 days a week off! In this position, the Dietitian will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to ICU,NICU and patients with a variety of disease states. Previous experience with NICU preferred; if you desire to advance your clinical experience, team is willing to train in the NICU as well.

Although this posting is set as a Dietitian Nutritionist with at least 2 years of experience. --we are open to exploring varying experience levels and hiring experienced Dietitian Nutritionists.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager the ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with 2 years experience in acute care and eligible for NV license;
  • collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience;
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with the medical, ancillary staff, administration, as well as representing Sodexo for the facility.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
