Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at one of South Houston’s most prominent hospitals, HCA Houston Healthcare. Position will provide inpatient RD coverage at HCA Clear Lake in Webster, TX a 500-bed acute care facility that offers a complete spectrum of medical care; including inpatient rehabilitation, complex cardiovascular services, brain surgery, and beyond and has been recognized as a Cycle IIII Accredited Chest Pain Center, Comprehensive Stroke Facility, Level II Trauma Capable Facility, Commission on Cancer accredited program and National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancer.

Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Money toward continuing education events!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!
Position will report to the Operations Manager and Clinical Manager and selected candidate will:
- Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients within the inpatient rehabilitation facility, as well as patients with a variety of other conditions
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and serves as the nutrition expert
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
- Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives for the department
- Educate patients, family members and facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modifications
- Thrive in a high energy and demanding environment and be flexible and able to adapt to a changing patient population
- Work closely with Clinical Nutrition Manager and assist with projects and additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
