Sodexo is seeking an experienced fulltime inpatient Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Hoag Hospital Irvine (HHI) and Hoag Newport Beach (HNB). Irvine, CA and Newport Beach, CA are 12 miles apart.

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units at HHI and HNB;
• work every 4^th or 5^th weekend providing hospital-wide coverage;
• work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, attend unit and clinical program meetings and committees;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and chart audits;
• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
• precept dietetic interns.

• Registered Dietitian credentials and with 2 or more years’ experience in an inpatient setting;

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
