Director 2, Business Analytics

This virtual position serves as the FP&A leader for the Education segment, providing strategic financial leadership, performance management, and decision support to the Education CFO and senior finance leadership.

The role leads the FP&A and Business Analytics team supporting Campus and K-12 Schools and works closely with Segment Finance and Operations leadership.

In this high-impact position, you’ll lead teams, partner across functions, and standardize insights that enhance visibility, performance, and long-term value.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $134640  - $209110 

Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary

What you’ll bring 

The position establishes a consistent FP&A operating rhythm across Education, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and forward-looking analysis.

The role translates financial and operational performance into actionable insights, challenges assumptions, and helps drive decisions that improve growth and profitability.

• Expertise in financial planning, data analytics, and performance management with a strong command of business drivers
• Advanced Excel capabilities and hands-on experience with data modeling, manipulation, and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar
• A strategic mindset paired with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-impact priorities independently
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a confident ability to challenge assumptions and influence executive-level decisions
• A leadership approach that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams and functions
