Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Director, Contracts Administration to support a growing federal segment with a portfolio of approximately $450M, serving high-profile clients client portfolio that includes the U.S. Marine Corps, Air Force, Intelligence business and Federal Government locations throughout the United States.
This role is critical to ensuring effective contract management that supports Sodexo’s financial and strategic objectives, while maintaining compliance with ethical, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
The position requires strong expertise in government contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS, SCA) and the ability to guide complex contractual relationships and negotiations.
Based in North Bethesda, MD, this leader will play a key role in strengthening the Government segment’s contract management function and supporting business growth.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic guidance and authoritative advice on risks, liabilities, and opportunities in solicitations, proposals, and contracts (federal, state/local, and commercial).
- Lead contract management activities, including developing and maintaining contract baselines and supporting contract modifications, proposals, and amendments.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFARS, and other applicable regulations and contract terms
- Draft and review contractual agreements such as NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts.
- Interpret contract requirements, including scope of work and terms and conditions.
- Partner with Legal to identify and resolve contract issues and disputes with customers.
- Participate actively in bid and proposal processes, including developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners as a primary contracts interface. [1]
- Drive continuous improvement of contract management processes and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD preferred) is a plus.
- 8+ years of relevant business experience, with strong exposure to government contracting.
- Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, Service Contract Act (SCA), and other government regulations.
- Experience with complex contractual arrangements, including joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including understanding of cost accounting standards and P&L implications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop negotiation strategies, lead negotiations, and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years of experience in contracting or related experience
