Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled, experienced FP&A professional to join our organization. This position collaborates across the North America region on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions. This role provides strategic insights, financial guidance, and support to senior management to drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance and at least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 2 years in a FP&A role.

This Director of FP&A position is a hybrid role, based at our North American headquarters in Bethesda, MD. This position will report to the Senior Director, FP&A and will also interact frequently with the North American VP of FP&A and Chief Financial Officer.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current financial performance against historical data and budget/forecast in collaboration with multiple teams across the region
  • Identify trends and make recommendations for financial optimization
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to support regional executives and the global FP&A team
  • Present financial data to senior management
  • Develop financial models for budgeting and forecasting
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness
  • Provide ad hoc financial reports, tables, and exhibits as requested

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and speaking skills including preparation and presentation of written reports, financial presentations, and management recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial consolidations and segment reporting
  • Expert user of Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Hyperion products and a business intelligence tool
