SodexoMagic in Corporate Services is seeking an experienced Director Of Operations to lead our team at a potential new sale in Foster City, California. This high-profile Director will oversee the execution of our client’s critical infrastructure focusing on support to lead our top team of hospitality professionals. The preferred candidate will have experience in operations at an executive level managing multiple services to include Café’s, Catering and Events.

The ideal candidate is an organized and effective leader with a passion for hospitality and affinity for operational efficiency and new account opening experience. Candidates with multi-café management experience, from an upscale hospitality environment, restaurant concept are preferred. We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, flexibility and adaptability in a fast and frequently changing environment.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • high profile hospitality management experience
  • strong communication skills - working with clients and administration
  • experience hiring, training, and motivating a high performing team of managers, supervisors and front-line staff across various disciplines and operating departments
  • proven expertise in fostering relationships with executive level
  • experience managing in an innovative progressive food service environment
  • strong hospitality, customer care skills and background
  • team leader with exceptional motivational skills
  • exceptional client relations to ensure Sodexo’s product offerings align with client needs
  • inspiring strategic direction; secure and/or deploy resources; cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within Sodexo; ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; sustain client satisfaction and retention; and maintain strong employee relations.

What We Offer

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 7 years
Basic Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in operations
