Location: We are seeking an experienced Director of Premium and Catering for the Hard Rock Stadium, located in Miami Gardens, FL.

Principal Function:

The Director of Premium and Catering is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and management of premium hospitality and catering services. You will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining and hospitality experiences to our VIP guests, suite holders, and corporate clients during events and games.

The Director of Premium and Catering will support the planning of and preparation for events according to anticipated attendance, and will provide hands-on management and oversight in the areas of service and F&B operations during events.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance premium hospitality and catering services, aligning with the stadium's brand and enhancing the overall fan experience.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of assigned unit by partnering with operations in providing support, information, insight, analysis and recommendations in matters pertaining guest service, menu development, creative event planning, revenue generation and other functions pertaining to Catering Sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suite holders, corporate clients, and VIP guests, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized service
  • Oversee the delivery of premium hospitality services including suite catering, VIP lounges, and exclusive dining experiences, ensuring quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
  • Manage all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, presentation, and service, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for premium and catering services, monitoring expenses, and maximizing revenue through effective pricing strategies and upselling opportunities
  • Collaborate with event operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of premium services during games, concerts, and special events, anticipating and resolving any issues that may arise

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of experience in hospitality management, with a focus on premium services, catering operations, and event management within a stadium or large-scale venue.

  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a proven track record of managing diverse teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

  • Deep understanding of customer service principles, with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations and maintaining long-term client relationships.

  • Solid understanding of catering operations, including menu planning, food safety standards, and logistics management, with a passion for culinary excellence.

  • Strong financial management skills, including budget development, cost control, and revenue generation through effective pricing strategies and sales techniques.

  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to oversee events and ensure the successful delivery of premium services

Other Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
