Build a dynamic team with diverse knowledge and experience so you can deliver solutions that go beyond expectations Sodexo Campus Segment is seeking a District Manager to manage both dining and facilities management operations for 7 campuses in New Mexico. Our successful candidate will have experience in food and beverage AND Facilities management services, be an expert at finding and building Talent within the organization and maintain excellent client-partner relationships to find mutually beneficial outcomes for our high profile, well established accounts.

We are looking for a a strategic-thinking leader who can work in partnership with client vision and expectations while delivering on high quality Campus Dining and Facilities Management Services that achieve high customer satisfaction survey scores. Our ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence with the ability to work within complex, multiple client organizations. Strong client-partner relationship skills are required for success in the role, to effectively work internally and externally at the organization.

  • Previous success managing a University Campus account
  • Strong time management skills and will be able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong focus on food quality and presentation as well as high-profile catering experience
  • Be well versed in culinary functions, food and labor cost control, food safety and sanitation
  • High-level communication skills to develop exceptional professional relations with high-profile clients
  • Strong P&L background with demonstrated success managing a prestigious in a Campus environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, computer skills, culinary knowledge and food and beverage cost controls
  • Demonstrated history of managing skilled trades including all MEP, construction, external vendors and CapEx Budget
  • Ability to ensure the facility’s product offerings and solutions are successful, lead and motivate the management team
  • Inspirational strategic direction; secure and deploy resources; cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within Sodexo; ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; sustain client satisfaction and retention; and maintain strong employee relations for our already cohesive teams
  • Strong experience leading food operations in a complex, high volume, higher education setting with strong P&L experience
  • Five plus years of food service experience in a high volume with multi-unit management experience managing multiple national brands and Facilities Management asset management,CapEx and OpEx experience
  • Strong technically competence in unit financial management, pricing, menu development and will be responsible for the training and development of front-line hourly employees and managers
  • Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills and can develop and maintain professional, positive working relationships with multiple clients, liaisons, customers, employees, supervisors and vendors
  • Strong communication skills and will be able to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of client and Sodexo's organizations
