We are in search of our next “Magic Maker” at the following location:

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Service Manager 1 for Community Medical Center, located in Toms River, New Jersey. This is a 550 beds facility with 90 client paid staff. This is a split shift position, with alternate weekends and holidays.

Must have excellent customer service skills and employee relations skills.
We are looking for candidates who can:
  • Implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve patient satisfaction and throughput.
  • Interact with patients and the staff
  • Perform HR functions including hiring, orientation, training, payroll and direct supervision and development
  • Maintain safety documentation and training for unit
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
  • Strong management skills, preferably in health care
  • Strong team building and employee engagement skills
  • Strong hospitality focus - be engaged and interactive with all our customers and employees
  • Strong drive to make things happen
  • Knowledge of best practices in Patient safety

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
