Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2

Join Sodexo as an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, CA. In this overnight leadership role, you will oversee EVS operations during the 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM shift.

Success in this role requires experience with floor care and OR terminal cleaning, while Spanish-speaking abilities will help foster strong communication and team leadership.

About the job

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee frontline environmental services teams to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You’ll play a key part in scheduling, training, and supporting daily operations, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $61710  - $79860

Requirements

• Education Requirement: High School/GED or associate’s degree or equivalent experience
