Sodexo is looking for an Environmental Service Operations Manger 2, (Off-Site Manager) to lead cleaning operations across multiple healthcare facilities within the Care New England (CNE) health system. This is a split shift position 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with some weekends and holidays.
Oversee Cleaning Operations: Manage and coordinate cleaning activities across multiple locations within the hospital system, ensuring compliance with hospital-grade cleanliness standards.
Manage Disinfection Protocols: Implement and monitor disinfection procedures, ensuring that all surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas are properly disinfected per healthcare regulations.
Ensure Compliance with Healthcare Regulations: Stay updated on and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare cleaning standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
Conduct Routine Inspections: Perform regular audits and inspections of facilities to verify that cleaning tasks are being completed thoroughly and effectively.
Manage Cleaning Staff: Supervise cleaning teams, including both in-house staff and third-party contractors, ensuring proper training, performance, and adherence to cleaning protocols.
Develop Cleaning Schedules: Create and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure all areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and operating rooms, are cleaned regularly and thoroughly.
Handle Special Projects and Deep Cleaning: Oversee and coordinate deep cleaning tasks, special projects, or emergency cleanups as needed, ensuring all areas are restored to hospital-grade standards.
Maintain Documentation: Track and document all cleaning activities, inspections, and any issues that arise, ensuring records are available for audits or reviews.
Communicate with Stakeholders: Act as a liaison between hospital administration, cleaning staff, and third-party vendors to address concerns, provide updates, and implement improvements in cleaning processes.
Train and Educate Staff: Provide ongoing training to cleaning staff on proper techniques, use of cleaning products, safety procedures, and new regulations to ensure consistent quality across all locations.
Report Issues and Address Complaints: Quickly respond to any cleanliness issues or complaints, taking immediate corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that cleaning is consistent and meets the hospital’s expectations for sanitation and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
