Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager in Topeka and the surrounding region.  

 

This full-time position will require travel over an area of 13 counties inspecting clinical operations and ambulatory centers.  The Operations Manager will assure that Sodexo's Environmental Services standards are met over 40 locations associated with Stormont Vail Health system. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a background in Environmental Services management and the ability to drive to locations 1 to 2 hours away from the main office location in Topeka KS.  

 

 

What You'll Do

 

  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores; 
  • meet with clinic leaders 
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
  • lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
  • effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Bring

 

  • experience exceeding the expectations of clients and customers in service delivery;
  • customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality;
  • possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program;
  • monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
  • experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
  • proficiency with computers and other technology;
  • strong communication skills and a professional presence.  
  • a valid driver's license

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
