We're growing our business!  Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager 2  located in the Baltimore, MD area. This position will oversee a team of 40 custodial employees at this healthcare account. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to work a Day Shift schedule depending on the needs of the business, that also includes some rotating weekends and holidays where support is required. Team work is key here between the food and EVS teams, working seamlessly to support each other.

 

As part of the assessment process, the client will conduct the following verficiations during onboarding:

-Vaccines for Flu, TB, and Covid

-drug testing

-FBI check

 

Our Sodexo Health Care Environmental Services/Housekeeping teams work to direct housekeeping operations at health care client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of staff.  

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff; 
  • effectively manages the Unit Operating System; and/or
  • support an inclusive workforce and provide strong leadership.

What You Bring

  • have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers of a housekeeping system;
  • have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
  • are results and safety driven;
  • have knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;
  • have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance;
  • have 3-5 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience; 
  • are proficient with computers and other technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
