New England Aquarium Information:

The New England Aquarium is a nonprofit research and conservation organization that has protected and cared for our ocean and marine animals for more than 50 years. The New England Aquarium is a catalyst for global change through public engagement and education.

Event Bartender Responsibilities:

• Responsible for serving drinks at various events such as parties, corporate functions, and weddings.
• Must be able to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, understand drink recipes, set up and maintain the bar area, check identification to ensure legal age requirements for alcohol consumption, process payments, and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage inventory and work with Catering & Operations Managers to ensure events run smoothly.
• Previous experience as a banquet/event bartender preferred, but not required.
• Requires the ability to work consistently on feet and communicate with others in a team environment.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with prolonged walking/standing.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time.
