Executive Chef 1
Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Mid Shift Executive Chef 1 (10am to 8pm schedule) to join our team at Florida Natural in Lake Wales FL! This manufacturing site has a building population of 800 employees. The current food landscape is Cafe and Catering where we serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
The Executive Chef 1 will be the lead culinary person for the operation. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Managing a team of 6 hourly employees
- Responsible for food and labor cost
- Menu planning
- Hands on working with the team 70% of the time
- safety and sanitation
- Ensuring quality and presentation of food
This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.
Target Salary is 60K to 65K

Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
