Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an innovative Executive Chef 1 to join our team at our pharmaceutical client in Cambridge, MA. The current food landscape consists of 1 Corporate Cafe where we serve Breakfast and Lunch, Office Coffee, and Catering Operations.
The Executive Chef 1 supports all facets of daily culinary production, other duties include but not limited to:
- Menu creating and planning
- Hands on cooking about 75% of the time
- Food Cost
- Ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
- Working with Sodexo computer systems; FMS, Market Connections and Dynamify
The best qualified candidate will have excellent leadership experience and a focus on safety and sanitation, quality and standards. We are looking for someone with great communication and training skills. This is a great step toward future culinary management role, but will also be hands-on to support operations

Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
