Job Description
Sodexo is hiring an experienced Executive Chef 2 for The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK. The University of Tulsa Dining Services takes pride in offering a premier country club culinary feel, providing students and faculty with exceptional dining experiences reminiscent of an exclusive and refined atmosphere. The Executive Chef will manage our newly remodeled resident dining hall and limited mobile offerings. The successful candidate will:
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations and excellence,
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance and procedures; and/or
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.

- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, manage coaching and employee development skills; and/or

Position Summary
Provides culinary leadership within a premier residential dining hall location including menu planning, program execution and staff management & development. Works directly with Campus Executive Chef to execute additional programs and support all unit locations.
Key Duties
- Implements & coordinates the residential culinary program
- Directs & develops culinary staff and utility workers
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards
- Manages limited offerings in Mobile Order Station
- Customer & Client satisfaction
- Unit Financial management including food cost and labor management
- Manages all internal and external food & physical safety programs
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years' work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
