Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef for Madonna University located in Livonia, MI! Madonna University is a small, faith based residential college located in Livonia, Michigan, convenient to Ann Arbor and Detroit. The Executive Chef will also have oversight for Concordia Ann Arbor campus located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

What You'll Do
- be responsible for culinary operations for the main dining halls, retail locations, and catering.
50% hands on cooking, 50% menu development, ordering/inventory, safety training, etc.
- work within a rotating menu, while being creative and innovative
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
- Develop strong Client, Campus, Community and Employee engagement

What You Bring
- a strong culinary background (3-5 years high volume dining), with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
- excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
- have a passion for food and innovation.
- ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations; and
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
