Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital located in Madison, WI to direct all culinary operations. The Executive Chef will be a dynamic team player with a natural ability to lead, mentor and develop others and have a passion for creating delicious tasting food and providing exceptional service.

The successful candidate will:

  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures
  • manage, direct, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors
  • oversee all procurement and purchasing
  • create menus and implement innovative and fresh ideas

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • extensive culinary experience in a high-volume environment
  • management skills and experience fostering positive culture and engaging with frontline staff
  • menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
  • proficient computer skills, exceptional organization skills, and great attention to detail
  • a proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
