Sodexo is seeking a Executive Chef 3 for Grand Strand Medical Center located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Grand Strand Medical Center is a 419 bed acute care medical center located in one of South Carolina's most popular coastal destinations serving residents of Horry County and the surrounding areas.
The Executive Chef will oversee the culinary operations and support 40 frontline staff for patient meals and retail operations. This is a high impact position that is responsible for enhancing our patient satisfaction, and retail customer dining experience through culinary creativity, food presentation and overall leadership presence at this outstanding account.
Primarily Monday-Friday schedule (hours based on business needs)

The ideal candidate:
- has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
- has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- Experience in retail food and café food merchandising and marketing plans to drive enhanced transaction growth and customer capture rates
- Working knowledge with cash handling and cash management policies with accountability and accuracy through managing staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
- can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
