Sodexo is seeking a Facilities Engineering Operations Manager for a Corporate Services account located in New York, NY.

Our ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who knows how to manage overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines, and efficiently use their time. The Facilities Engineering Operations Manager will oversee day to day facilities operations, including hard and soft services, preventative maintenance, janitorial, and mail-room operations. You will be responsible for supporting our client and ensuring the highest level of service throughout the account.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Support account FM teams and serve as resource for communications, building client relationships, account coordination, and problem solving.
  • Basic Facilities knowledge in HVAC systems, Fire safety systems, electrical, plumbing and minor renovations.
  • Support client with implementation of strategic, tactical, and operational reporting to enhance customer service, account profitability and/or retention, and client and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of site operations, including the development and administration of training plans.
  • Supports operations by proactively identifying work orders and/or projects that need prompt attention and action.
  • Recommend changes in operation, identify appropriate resources, and assist in implementation plans.
  • Receive client's requests and effectively prioritize time and resources
  • Working and communicating professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers and contractors

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years successful experience in Facilities Management, including hard, and soft services, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and EVS/Custodial operations in large complex facilities environment;
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills;
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC and skilled trades;
  • Demonstrates strong leadership in client, customer and community relations; and
  • Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building;

Qualifications & Requirements
