Role Overview


Sodexo is seeking a Facilities Engineering Operations Manager to support a Consumer Goods client and their two locations in Huntersville, and Concord, NC. As an operations expert, you will be our client's main point of contact for all day-to-day facilities operations, including management of contracted hard and soft services, janitorial, grounds and financial management to ensure top-quality service. Your organizational skills will shine as you handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and support our client in maintaining the highest level of service. What You'll Do


  • Oversee facility operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment that exceeds client standards.
  • Manage and schedule all facilities contractors, ensuring high standards across service lines

  • Manage facility budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and develop emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
  • Utilize Maximo CMMS to submit and track work orders.
  • Implement strategic, tactical, and operational reporting to improve customer service, account profitability, client retention, and satisfaction.

What You Bring


  • 3-5+ years of management experience in industrial or manufacturing operations.
  • Expertise in asset management and Facilities Management leadership.
  • Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and energy management.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, including budgeting experience.
  • Skilled in building positive relationships with management, teams, and clients.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MAXIMO, and SAP with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications & Requirements


Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 5 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
