Sodexo is seeking an onsite Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for an airline account in the SeaTac, WA area. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills, and must enjoy working with clients to achieve excellent customer service in facilities maintenance.

This position will assist with resources to complete reactive and preventative work orders with vendors, technicians, and the client, in airport facilities including Cargo, Hangar and Terminal buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist team with vendor management, vendor selection and onboarding.
  • Approach all aspects of the work being performed with safety as the highest priority, ensuring OSHA regulations are followed.
  • Handle routine facilities operations by procuring supplies and services, assigning work orders in CMMS, use written and verbal communication as a liaison between vendors and client.
  • Obtaining accurate proposals, issue purchase orders with NTE, monitor work completion/obtain work completion paperwork, final receipt in CMMS for invoicing.
  • Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion. Status may include waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.
  • Actively participate in scheduling meetings with partners to finalize priority of work orders.
  • Assist manager with the hiring, training and onboarding processes.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System and capability to create queries and reports. Preferred experience with Maximo CMMS.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excell, Teams, and Word. (Microsoft Office/database)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills and orientation, with the ability to always maintain professionalism.
  • 4+ of facilities coordination in commercial buildings required, airline or airport experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to multitask.
  • Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Associate Degree in Business /Management, Facilities, or another Technical Degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of building utility systems, including appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, on call weekly rotation (on call is weekends and evenings).
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Willing to travel in the United States as needed.
