Our successful candidate will have advanced social media skills, be connected with our students, faculty and staff and operate with a sense of community on campus with our Moorehead Dragons! This job involves standing up and talking in front large groups of students and getting them excited about our dining options This is not a sit at your desk and draw graphics type of job - this is a high-energy, engage the students and gather feedback type of job. A daily dose of FUN is required for success in the role.

This position oversees all marketing and helps to grow dining services sales for options like home-style entrées, from-scratch soups, our Mongolian Grill, Simple Servings of foods prepared allergen free Starbucks and more! Our successful leader will connect with students on how proper nutrition supports their academic, mental and physical health. Sodexo’s Marketing staff work with operations teams to develop marketing strategies that provide a high level of service and innovation for multiple cafes, catering, micro markets, brands and retail stores. Marketing is focused on growth strategies for increasing sales for the unit, improving customer satisfaction and promoting Sodexo’s Brand.

We are looking for candidates who can:

  • Work with managers, clients, the General Manager and campus administration in all matters relating to marketing, in order to help establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship
  • Be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all marketing activities throughout the enterprise, through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Team development skills
  • A strong marketing background
  • Contract food services experience is preferred
  • The ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload
  • Strong social media skills are required experience with Scala preferred
  • Best in class presentation skills, with extensive PowerPoint experience
  • Strategic leadership, exceptional communication and project management skills
  • Client relationship skills and the ability to quickly respond to client and management needs
  • Enjoy June and July OFF! Summers Off! (you would be eligible for unemployment compensation)
