Sodexo is seeking a vibrant and innovative In Unit Marketing Manager for the University of Denver, located in Denver, CO. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to create and execute the marketing strategy and financial plan for each fiscal year. This role plays a crucial part in advancing University Dining initiatives by focusing on marketing, communication, and public relations.

Sodexo’s Marketing staff work with our operations teams to develop marketing strategies that provide a high level of service and innovation for Student Dining on campus - including multiple cafes, catering, micro markets, brands and Food Retail Concepts. Marketing is focused on growth strategies for increasing sales for the unit, improving customer satisfaction and promoting Sodexo’s Brand.

Are You the ONE? The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for creating, executing, and evaluating:

  • A comprehensive marketing, communications, and PR program that enhances University Dining’s image, market position, and public perception.
  • Maintaining a cohesive visual identity for University Dining across print materials, social media platforms, websites, logos, and brochures
  • Ensuring that University Dining’s desired image and position are clearly articulated and consistently communicated across various channels, both internal and external.
  • Conducting relevant market research with a focus on engaging and involving students in the university environment.
  • Coordinating and supervising activities to monitor industry trends and implementing strategies for optimization.

Managing Client Relations include:

  • Engage in discussions with the University Dining staff and important team members to establish and uphold a strategic plan.
  • Manage and supervise essential client communications, such as the annual plan and quarterly reviews.
  • Take part in client meetings to incorporate the University’s mission and values into programming.

We are looking for a solid Marketing Specialist who:

  • Possesses strong skills in creativity, marketing strategy, analysis, organization, and sales.
  • Is committed to working collaboratively with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
  • Has experience in designing and implementing an annual marketing, communications, and public relations plan.
  • Stays up with current trends in the Hospitality, Foodservice, and/or Educational industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates success in delivering effective presentations.
  • Displays strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analytics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience is preferred.

Salary range for this Field Marketing Specialist position is $60,000 - 75,000. RELO is available! This role offers
