Principal Function:

We are seeking a results-oriented analyst with a proven track record in financial reporting and planning, exceptional organizational and communication skills, innovative thinking, and proficiency with emerging technologies. This position reports to the VP of Finance for Sodexo's Sports and Leisure division and is responsible for providing accurate reporting, investigating financial variances, clearly communicating forecasts and actual results, and leading various financial projects and ad-hoc analyses.

Location: Greenville, SC

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and provide accurate reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) utilizing Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and other financial reporting tools.
  • Investigate financial variances, document findings, and provide clear explanations.
  • Communicate weekly forecasts and monthly results by transforming complex issues into easily understood recaps and narratives.
  • Support the regional finance teams in the preparation and analysis of weekly forecasts and the annual budget cycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain various financial reports and models to support the business requirements of operating and executive management.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT.
  • Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Proactively anticipate challenges and opportunities to stay ahead, ensuring timely and strategic responses.

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of progressive financial analysis experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning and modeling with exposure to accounting.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, maintain attention to detail while working within tight time constraints.
  • Self-motivated and able to work successfully with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business requirements and learn new systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI highly desired.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
